The bass bite has just started in the last couple of days. Read below for some info on what we are hearing.
Location:
Most of action is happening in the beginning of bays or close to the bank. The smallmouth bite has far outweighed the largemouth.
Baits:
When it comes to baits, the umbrella rig with a Keitech Fat Impact 3.8 has been a winner. Also, the new Scottsboro Yum Flash Mob Jr. pack has been selling very well.

Crappie fishing is starting to pick up. With the crappie moving closer to the bank, they are starting to catch some numbers.
Location:
TVA has started to bring the water levels up headed to summer pool. The lake temperature is in the lower 60*
Baits:
The baits of choice have been live minnows. However, the Mr. Crappie Slabalicious Black Tuxedo has produced a lot of bites. The Southern Pro KY Lake Killer has been a customer favorite too.
When:
The best bite has been in the early morning or late evening during feeding times. Expect a lull in the midday.
